We host open mics monthly all over campus! From our MISC X Misfit Society Coffee Club collaboration MISCFIT to porch shows, and our HarvestFest collaboration with MUSIC Matters, we place an emphasis on first-time performers and performances for underrepresented genres. Once next semester's dates are confirmed, feel free to fill out our rolling open call form.
Every spring semester at The Blind Pig, MISC holds the Songwriter Showcase, a mainstage opportunity for budding student-songwriters to showcase their original songs. We have had two successful showcases, and we cannot wait to host more in the future! Be on the look out for our audition form once a showcase is announced!

SONGWRITER RETREAT
One weekend every semester, we host a songwriter retreat where we make demos in small groups, do songwriting challenges, and get to know our MISC community a little bit more. Stay tuned for more information in the beginning of September.
